    Wayne Palmer

Dr. Wayne D. Palmer is a 1997 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO, and is a veteran of the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard.  Prior to moving to Stuart, FL in June 2018, he practiced chiropractic medicine in Goldsboro, North Carolina for 20 years.  From 1997-2015, he was also an anatomy and physiology instructor for Mount Olive University in North Carolina, and currently teaches locally at Indian River State College.

Dr. Palmer has been certified through the Spine Research Institute for the treatment of injuries related to motor vehicle accidents, and is a contributing author on the book, “Neck Pain, Neck Pain – You Don’t Want It, You don’t Need It” (Fernandez Press, 2007).  He has had extensive experience in treating neck pain, headaches, lower back pain, sciatica, and auto accident injuries for both adults and children using various techniques including; Diversified Technique, Gonstead Technique, Meric Full Spine Specific Technique, and Sacral Occipital Technique.

Dr. Palmer’s journey in Chiropractic truly began at the age of 16 when he received an injury to his lower back during a high school football game. It wasn’t until a few years later, while in the United States Air Force that he realized his previous football injury was contributing to the nightly pain radiating down his legs.  While visiting his parents in Missouri, he told his mother, a chiropractic student at the time, about the pain he was experiencing, and she recommended he seek the help of a chiropractor.  That chiropractic treatment changed his world, and he decided he wanted to dedicate the rest of his life doing the same others!

Dr. Palmer is married with three children, and when he’s not spending time with his family, he enjoys flying remote control airplanes and helicopters.  His vast knowledge, experience, and passion for changing the lives of others, cause him to give exemplary care to his patients, and help them recover and maintain their health through chiropractic.
